Recording: webianr ‘How to effectively engage at COP28

The webinar titled “How to Achieve Effective Participation in COP28: Introduction and Tips for Participants” took place on September 22, 2023.

On this event, co-organised by Impulsouth, VCA, and Resilience Hub, in collaboration with Avina, we discussed the relevance of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and the spaces available for civil society and government representatives to participate effectively in COP28, to be held in the United Arab Emirates from 30 November to 12 December 2023.

Seminar objectives
In this event, we successfully achieved the following objectives:

• Strengthen the capacities of key stakeholders for effective participation in COP28. 
• Promote effective participation of representatives from the global south and democratise access to knowledge and opportunities. 
• Contextualise delegates and participants on the proceedings and themes of COP28, thus contributing to a more inclusive global narrative. 

The session was recorded and interpreted simultaneously in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesia.
