This event, co-organised by VCA, Impulsouth and Resilience Hub, and coordinated by Avina, is an opportunity to learn further and discuss the spaces for participation in narrative building and global decision-making, amplifying the voices of the global south in the fight against climate change.

Fousing on the relevance of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), we will discuss the spaces available for civil society and government representatives to effectively participate in COP28, to be held in the United Arab Emirates from 30 November to 12 December 2023.

During this webinar, we will seek to:

  • Strengthen the capacities of key stakeholders for effective participation in COP28.
  • Promote effective participation of representatives from the global south and democratise access to knowledge and opportunities.
  • Contextualise delegates and participants on the proceedings and themes of COP28, thus contributing to a more inclusive global narrative.

The session will be recorded and interpreted simultaneously in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesia. You can register here

Additionally, we invite you to download the recently launched Guide for Climate Change Negotiators, e, available in three languages here.
